1978 HONDA CIVIC DEL SOL

As you will notice for some of these previously unreleased works, I actually ended up preferring to fully draw and outline the car with my modifications as I found it easier at the time than the digital painting since it still conveyed the same concept without the hassle of making the painted areas look right against the rest of the car and image. Note that that direction presented itself in a few different ways depending on the projects, but this alternate history Del Sol took the direction of a nearly-completed redrawing of the car but placed it again the base image with the wheels and background untouched. As for this particular project itself, I took some inspiration from the Porsche 911s of the era for the roof but mostly improvised myself what would look right with the Civic body and I think I got the best possible result here.
